Description de l'image
It's Global Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week!

As the WHO puts it, “World Week for Good Antibiotic Use aims to raise awareness of the global phenomenon of antibiotic resistance, and to encourage the general public, healthcare workers and decision-makers to adopt best practices to prevent antibiotic resistance from developing and spreading further”.

This week of 2024 has already been marked by several events in a “One Health” approach.

Firstly, the “Prevention of Antibiotic Resistance” report was published on November 18, taking stock of antibiotic consumption and antibiotic resistance in a “One Health” approach. All information on this report can be found on the ANSM website.

The Anses is also organizing a theme day on “Antibiotic resistance in animal health: a One Health approach” on November 19, 2024. All information is available on the Anses website. This day was also an opportunity to present the results of the 2023 veterinary antibiotic sales monitoring program. The press kit is available here.
